How I Almost Lost Everything In My Life
For most of my life, I was discouraged by how my life played out. It started from the age of two up until I hit my breaking point at twenty years old. I was miserable, searching for answers on how I was going to overcome my stutter. I had a fulfilled heart, was raised by a nice family, but my problems revolved around my inability to communicate effectively.
At a very young age, it was evident that I had a severe stutter. I tried to always be a positive child about my stutter, but as I began to get older and experience hardships and headaches, my life completely shifted. I transitioned from being the positive kid into a depressed and unhappy teenager. I was stuck in my life because I had no hope of overcoming my stutter and transforming into a confident speaker.
My mother took multiple speech therapists but nothing seemed to do the trick. To make matters worse, I accepted my identity of who I was as an individual because, after all the losses that I dealt with, it forced me to believe that nothing was going to work out in my life.
I thought I almost lost everything in my life.
But one day, my mentor told me, “you can, be, do have anything and everything you want. All it takes is changing the way you think.” This was the first time where I felt influenced and empowered to make a change in my thought process. This quote has been instilled in me ever since. A simple conversation transformed into a lifechanging experience for my future.
“You can, be, do have anything and everything you want. All it takes is changing the way you think.”
This transformation has allowed me to speak my story in front of 1000s, become the director of a multimillion dollar company and teach my students how to improve on their public speaking and achieve their desires in life. So, if you have ever felt like you were about to lose everything, it’s never too late to change your mindset.
Here are the things I did: 1.) Found mentorship, 2.) Rewired My Mindset, 3.) Eliminated The Victim Mentality, 4.) Never Quit.
Continue to strive for your desires, never look back in the past and perceive life in an abundant way. I believe that you will achieve your desires and MORE!
